Food is just a helping hand away.

Action at Completely KIDS looks like forging ahead with creativity and flexibility despite uncertainty. When our staff began working remotely in mid-March, we had a plan in place within four days of how we would continue to serve our children and families. As the pandemic stretched on and needs continued to emerge, our staff developed creative ways to communicate with our families, provide programming virtually and meet nutritional and mental health needs.

One of our parents, a single mom with seven children, expressed fear about how she would continue to put food on the table for her children. Mobile food distribution, weekend food and working with our Community Connector to obtain additional food services relieved this worry for her so that she could continue to care for her family in other ways.
